Cancellation &Refund Policy

At planyourpackage.com, we strive to provide flexible and transparent booking options. However, as an aggregator, our cancellation policies are bound by the rules of our partner Service Providers (Airlines, Hotels, Camp Operators). This policy outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are processed.
1. CANCELLATION PROCESS
1.1. Notification: All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@planyourpackage.com . Requests made via phone, WhatsApp, or social media will not be considered valid until confirmed via email to ensure a documented trail.
1.2. Timestamps: The date and time of the email receipt will be considered the "Cancellation Request Time" for calculating applicable charges.
2. STANDARD CANCELLATION CHARGES (LAND PACKAGES)
For tour packages involving Accommodation, Transport, and Adventure Activities (excluding Airfare), the following cancellation tiers apply:

3. FLIGHT CANCELLATION POLICY
3.1. Airline Rules: Cancellation of flight tickets included in your package is governed strictly by the respective airline's policy (e.g., Indigo, Air India, SpiceJet).
3.2. Service Fee: In addition to the airline's cancellation fee, planyourpackage.com charges a service fee of INR 500 per passenger per sector for processing flight cancellations.
3.3. Non-Refundable Fares: Certain promotional fares or "Lite" fares are non-refundable by the airline. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
4. SPECIFIC POLICY FOR ADVENTURE ACTIVITIES
4.1. Rafting & Bungee Jumping: Slots for activities like Bungee Jumping and Rafting are often pre-booked with limited capacity.
- Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the activity slot: No Refund.
- Cancellations due to medical unfitness at the site (e.g., high BP detected by the instructor): Refund is subject to the operator's discretion and usually provided in the form of a Credit Voucher.
5. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE AND MODE
5.1. Processing Time: Once a cancellation is approved, the refund amount is calculated and processed within 7 to 14 business days.
5.2. Gateway Delays: Please note that banks and payment gateways may take an additional 3-5 days to credit the amount to your account.
5.3. Mode of Refund: Refunds are strictly processed to the original source of payment (Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI). We cannot process cash refunds or transfers to third-party accounts to prevent money laundering.
6. FORCE MAJEURE AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS
6.1. Natural Calamities: In the event of cancellations necessitated by natural disasters (e.g., landslides in Uttarakhand, suspension of rafting by government order), planyourpackage.com will not charge its own processing fees. However, refunds are subject to the recovery of funds from third-party vendors.
6.2. Credit Note: In cases where vendors refuse cash refunds due to Force Majeure, we will issue a Future Travel Credit Note equivalent to the recoverable amount, valid for travel within 12 months from the date of issuance.
7. NON-REFUNDABLE COMPONENTS
The following components are strictly non-refundable under any circumstance:
- Convenience Fees charged by the Payment Gateway (typically 2-3%).
- Visa Fees (if applicable).
- Travel Insurance premiums once the policy is issued.
- Monument or Permit fees that have already been paid to government authorities.
